One of the most rewarding parts of this work is seeing how yoga therapy can shift someone’s life in just a few sessions.

This is even how it was for me, when I began practicing this modality.
Yoga Therapy is quite different than yoga. Yoga Therapy takes into the account the WHOLE individual. Everything that has happened to them. Their health. Conditions. Bad habits. Belief Systems.

A client of mine had gone through a traumatic event. I was able to help her unravel the heavy emotions through fascia work in a therapeutic yoga setting. Fascia is a connective tissue that response to our emotions. If we’re angry, sad, or full of grief and cannot let go, our fascia is constricting our muscles, organs, and bones creating pain, pressure, and internal chaos… imagine that ON TOP OF the traumatic event and the post-traumatic stress.

Check out my post below to read what my client Kylie said. She went through an unthinkable trauma that left her with pain, pressure, and stress in her body, mind, and nervous system. Yoga Therapy helped her reduce stress, connect the dots of self awareness, and heal.
